Uinta Mountains

Utah

If you're looking for a beautiful landscape, you've found it. The Uintas are a deep and vast mountain range with hundreds of alpine lakes full of Brook, Rainbow, Tiger, and Cutthroat Trout with a few other hidden gems to discover. There are so many lakes to choose from and most of them require some amount of hiking. Although there are a fair amount of road side lakes with more traffic as well. I prefer the lakes that require a hike of 3-4 miles to start getting into the massive numbers of fish. They are not usually known for size although there are some big fish to be had if you look hard enough, but they are known for willingly taking dry flies and great for all types of fishermen to enjoy. For you campers, backpackers, hikers, and fishermen, you all can find a lake to call your favorite here in the Uintas.
