Noturus flavus
Stonecats are tan to gray dorsally and yellowish to white ventrally. The adipose fin is attached to the back throughout its entire length, separated from the caudal fin by a notch. They have a pale margin outlining the caudal fin and a premaxillary band of teeth on the roof of their mouth with backward extensions.
