Description

Carp are not an extremely popular gamefish, but they are readily available and make for great fun. Many anglers like to target them on the fly, as they put up long, hard fought battles and can grow large in almost any circumstance. They are a Golden Brown color, with big thick scales about the size of a dime, sometimes larger. They have sucker mouths and big orange colored fins. You can't miss them!

Habitat

Warm rivers, lakes, reservoirs, and drainages.
