Oncorhynchus clarkii bouvieri x Oncorhynchus clarkii utah
Hybrid of Yellowstone cutthroat trout and Bonneville cutthroat trout
Native to Utah and Idaho, the Bear Lake Cutthroat Trout stems from Bear Lake originally, but has made it's way through stocking programs into most of Utah and Idaho. They can be found in tons of lakes and reservoirs across both states as well as small streams. They are usually a silver color with bright orange fins, and somewhat irregular black spots spread out on their backs and near the tail. They are pretty willing to eat and make for a great catch!
Deep, cold lakes and reservoirs
